Tool holders

The tasks of the tool holders and the various adapter interfaces as a link between machine tool and tool are a decisive element for the achievable production quality! Steep taper adapters, HSK adapters, hydraulic expansion chucks, shrink chucks, reinforced shrink chucks for milling, shrinking processes, modern shrinking devices, VDI adapters, CAPTO interface, and additively manufactured chucks with maximum accessibility are explained in particular.
To complete the program, the balancing of tool holders as well as advantages and disadvantages of the individual systems are on the program. The criteria for selection are explained in practice and the price-performance ratio is considered.
